The victim, a 27-year-old officer, was approached by the suspects who proceeded to force him to the ground, hold a knife to his throat, and steal his wallet and iPhone. To make matters worse, one of the suspects also made off with the victim’s registered firearm before fleeing the scene. The officer was rushed to the hospital in critical condition due to a severe head injury.
One of the suspects has been identified as Taveon Hargrove, 23, with authorities sharing his photo in hopes of gathering more information.
