Illinois State University’s police department is like, “Yo, can you help us out here?” They’re trying to identify this person who apparently ran away after a shooting went down at the school’s Bone Student Center right before 8 p.m. on Sunday. The whole situation caused a huge emergency alert from the school and a bunch of cops swarming the area.

So, here’s the deal: there was a fight between two groups, things escalated real quick, and someone who wasn’t even a student got shot. Luckily, it wasn’t life-threatening, but still, it’s not cool. The victim got taken to the hospital, and the person of interest in the pics they released just bounced.

The cops have been busting their butts all night to figure this mess out, following leads, and making sure the campus is secure. ISU President Aondover Tarhule is all like, “I feel you, folks. This is messed up. We’re on it.” The Bone Student Center had to shut down on Monday, but if you left your stuff there, you can grab it at the north entrance starting tomorrow at 7 a.m.

Tarhule’s like, “Just so you know, we’re still looking into this whole thing.” If you know anything about the person in those pics, hit up (309) 438-8631.

Man, what a crazy situation. Stay safe out there, y’all.
